TSW is known not only for the exhibition where most important fruit and vegetable industry companies from Poland and the world are presenting their products, but above all for conferences on a high substantive level. The 10th anniversary edition of the Fair in January 2020 will hold 60 lectures given by polish and foreign specialists, scientists and outstanding practitioners of their field.
— We focus not only on those with theoretical knowledge but most of all, those who can share a practical approach to the topic at hand — says TSW director, Jacek Kłudka. — this is why we can guarantee that the meetings we organize will not become another “time filler” and people will leave with a significant load of knowledge.
First conference block was on 15th January, first day of the fair. There was VII Strawberry Conference, VIII National Forum of Fruit and Vegetable Producers and conference entitled “New species of fruit shrubs — chances and perspectives”. On Thursdsy, 16th January, there was lectures addressed to fruit farmers, conference regarding field vegetables and lecture „Ecology in gardening – does it pay off”. It was an interesting meeting consisting of three parts: market and economy, agricultural engineering and sales and marketing. Lecture was include such topics as development of ecologic farms in Europe, starting ecological production, protection of fruit and vegetable cultivation and sale and marketing of bio fruit and vegetables.
— Live discussion we can observe each year during this part of the conference proves one thing – fruit and vegetable farmers are eager to discuss, exchange opinions and views. It is testifies that not only that there is high interest of the participants but also constant need of development and this translates to constant increase in meaning of our industry in the country and abroad. This is a reason for joy — says Jacek Kłudka.
