SUMMARY OF THE XIII EDITION OF TSW 2023

Thirteen turned out to be extremely lucky for TSW. This year's 13 th edition of the fair, considered to be the largest horticultural exhibition in Central and Eastern Europe. It took place on January 18 and 19, 2023 in Kielce. The Organizer of the event – Oficyna Wydawnicza Oikos – used the exhibition areas in Nadarzyn near Warsaw during previous editions. This year's change of location turned out to be a hit – the fair was visited by a record number of visitors! 12,368 people visited the Kielce halls (admission was recorded) in two days. Many guests came from abroad: Ukraine, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Estonia, Belarus, Romania, Great Britain, Georgia, Moldova, France and Spain.

TSW is already well established. For over a decade, they have been a "place of fruitful meetings" (as the slogan of the event says) of fruit and vegetable producers with producers and distributors of machinery, means of production, chemistry and fertilizers, as well as service providers for the horticultural industry. Within two days, 311 companies presented their offer on the exhibition area of 20,000 m², including 50 foreign companies from 15 countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Belgium, France, Ukraine, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Mexico, Austria and Luxembourg.

We would like to thank everyone for the trust they have placed in us despite the decision on the new location. However, this approach paid off – exhibitors emphasized that moving to Kielce is definitely a positive change!

The official opening of TSW 2023 was made by the Director of TSW, Mr. Jacek Kłudka and the President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce, PhD. Andrzej Mochoń. During the event, the Prof. Szczepan A. Pieniążek Awards were granted for the 8 th time. ⤵

An integral part of TSW 2023 were industry conferences, during which 76 Polish and foreign specialists gave nearly 50 lectures. Both eminent scientists and practitioners shared their knowledge.⤵

Debates and discussion panels with the participation of parliamentarians and producers aroused a lot of emotions. A Berry Conference was held for the first time as part of the fair. It was divided into parts about raspberry and currant, which attracted many listeners. All conferences were very popular. Lectures where listened by nearly 1500 people directly at the fair.
